Your HDR candidate reps & HDR committee have been hard at work to improve what we offer commencing, progressing and completing candidates.
It is recognised that commencing candidates need to know what the end game is going to look like. So we have designed a week long program that will allow candidates to mix and match. The program itself will be posted shortly but will contain the following items. The asterisked ones will be particular ly but not exclusively of interest to completing candidates.
Thesis framework; Thesis by publication; C o-tutelles; library tour; project management; accounting principles; & managing HDR candidate funds; selecting examiners; managing ethics; scholarships at MQ; candidature variation; completions; your supervisor and candidature agreement; methodology workshop; developing conference presentation skills;*: publishing your research*; life after research*.
